Webb16 mars 2010 · I can't get the hang of dimensioning to a theoretical sharp of a radius/fillet. In the drawing, I select the 2 (vertical and horizontal) lines to define the intersection, RMB and pick "intersection". Then I select a line the other side (I am dimensioning to) and see a yellow dot at the intersection. Webb13 apr. 2024 · All finite element (FE) models are simplifications of the actual geometry and loading. Common simplifications are: •linear-elastic material model, •point loads/restraints applied at a single node, •sharp corners in the CAD model – no fillet. These simplifications are valid modeling techniques used to create practical FE models, but they can cause … WebbA lot of machines have the option to automatically apply a radius or chamfer when programming to the theoretical sharp corner. So it is easier to have that location than the radius center. The auto radius and chamfer just take a “, R0.25” at the end of the line. Webb19 mars 2012 · Joined: 17/04/2014. Sorry Charlie, you got it wrong. If you lower a corner you would reduce the weight it is supporting, so if you raise a corner you would increase the weight it is supporting. But if you lower both corners together thus the axle, this could increase the weight, but this does depend on where your c.o.g is.
