WebbI've been doing it since day 1, mostly because the townies generally scare me. Many were extremely pale in appearance, I wanted more teens and children in the world, and like you had mentioned, more attractive Sims. I've never had an issue while doing this and relies on no cheats or mods, it is simply editing existing townies.

WebbAll of the save files I've seen go too far for my taste in overhauling and filling existing lots. I believe IllogicalSims has a save file on his tumblr page where he changed all hot and cold weather outfits for the townies. I've managed to find one since posting: glumbot's save file. I quite like many of the makeovers.
